The Open Rapid Tournament has been moved to September 13th. This is due to the museum venue being unavailable for September 6th, and to avoid coinciding with Father's Day on September 7th.

The tournament remains an open rapid tournament. Venue and schedule details will be shared soon.

Online registration remains open and we anticipate 20-30 participants to register for the tournament, as this tournament will be used for selection of Solomon Islands team at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Uzbekistan in September 2026.
