For the first time in Seychelles, we’ve officially started conducting freediving Instructor Courses
This feels like a huge moment, not just for us at Freediving Seychelles, but for the growth of freediving in the country as a whole.
From the beginning, our vision was never simply to hand out certifications. We’ve always believed that education in freediving should go far beyond depth numbers and passing requirements. It’s about creating instructors who truly understand safety, teaching methodology, the psychology behind the sport, and how to build confident, capable divers in a responsible way.
Becoming an instructor means becoming a mentor, a safety diver, an educator and someone who represents the sport to future generations.
We care deeply about maintaining high standards of education here in Seychelles and creating a strong foundation for the future of freediving locally. Seeing this next generation of instructors begin their journey is something we’re incredibly proud of.
A big step forward for our small island community 🇸🇨
