What an unforgettable final match at the SCA Division One Tournament held on 26th October at Perseverance Ground! It was one of the tightest battles against a strong GSP 7s side.

SL United won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a solid total of 173 for 6 wickets. Our dynamic opening pair Rashen and Mayura once again set the tone with their trademark power-hitting — both smashing half-centuries and leading the scoreboard brilliantly. 💪🔥

GSP 7s started their chase steadily and turned up the pressure in the second half, managing to clinch the win in what was truly a nail-biting finish.

Despite the result, SL United achieved remarkable milestones:
🏅 Rashen reached an incredible 2,000 career runs in 88 innings and won the Man of the Series trophy.
🎯 Buddhika earned recognition as the 3rd Highest Wicket Taker of the tournament.

In an exciting T20 encounter, SL United emerged victorious against GSP 7s A team in a match filled with standout performances. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, SL United posted a competitive total of 148/8 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant 56-run knock off just 38 balls by Rashen De Silva. Valuable contributions from Lahiru Hettiarachchi, Samptha Chameera, and Aruna Weerasooriya ensured a strong team batting effort, with smart strike rotation keeping the scoreboard moving.

GSP 7s A team started their chase well, with Selva Kumar and Vijayan building a promising partnership.
