Itβs about time I shared my big news with you! π€°π» Iβm now 20 weeks pregnant! Our baby girl is due at the end of August! π©·π£
Iβm officially halfway through the pregnancy at this point and I couldnβt be happier! Feeling beyond grateful and blessed every single day. π
Initially I wanted to take some time away from social media to process the news and adjust to this new phase of my life, which is why Iβve been absent on here.
However, now that itβs springtime and nature is blossoming back to life, Iβm also feeling a new shift in energy within myself. πΈ I feel ready to come out of my little cocoon and get back to sharing about yoga and about my life. π§π»ββοΈ
Since getting pregnant I definitely feel a difference in the way I approach my yoga / fitness practice, as well as my self-care, eating habits and overall mindset towards myself and towards womanhood/motherhood.
Iβll share more about that in the coming weeks. For now, I just wanted to say Iβm very grateful to have the support of my partner, my family and my friends! ππ»β€οΈ

Join me for a juicy 15min upper body stretch session targeting the shoulder girdle muscles, pecs & thoracic spine.
Props: x1 Strap (or a belt/towel) + x2 Blocks (or a chair/sofa/countertop)
In this class we'll work on opening the shoulders, chest and upper back to create mobility and improve flexibility in the whole upper body and spine.
We'll start the class by warming up the shoulders with some shoulder rolls - an exercise that takes the shoulders through Elevation, Depression, Protraction and Retraction to create heat & awareness of the area.
Then, we perform some shoulder flossing with the strap by creating circles with the arms, followed by some micro flossing in the sticky areas + spinal twists.
Then, we take it to the floor for some thoracic opening with Puppy & Cat/Cow variations using the blocks/sturdy surface.
We end the class with Broken Wing pose for some deep chest opening, followed by x5 expansive Cobra lifts to activate the back muscles and lengthen the front body.

Join me for a quick 15min power flow for core strength & stability, spinal mobility & back health.
In this class we'll strengthen the front & back core, as well as mobilize the spine through its full range of motion by exploring side bending, flexion & extension.
We'll also strengthen the upper body, especially the shoulders, chest & triceps, as well as the legs and glutes. We'll work on balance and coordination, both of which require deep core strength & stability.
Some of the postures we'll explore include Warrior 3, Side Plank, Wild Thing, Cobra, High Lunge, Goddess, Malasana (yogi's squat), Bridge and Boat pose.
By the end of this class you'll feel stronger, more energized & more open in the hips, legs and heart.

Recommended: x2 Blocks + x1 Strap
In this class we'll open and strengthen the hips & hamstrings, as well as work on shoulder mobility to help us get the bind needed for Bird of Paradise. Please remember that you can always use your strap to create the bind. πͺ
This is an intermediate level class with options to scale it up or down, depending on your needs and preferences.
In addition to Bird of Paradise, we'll also explore Middle Split, Front Split, Bound Triangle, Bound Side Angle and Bound Humble Warrior.
This class will strengthen your glutes and hamstrings, as well as help you work on balance and core stability.

This 1-hour intermediate vinyasa flow class focuses on twisting and hamstring flexibility, as well as core strength and balance.
We'll be stretching and strengthening the lower body in addition to mobilising the spine through a variety of active and passive twists.
At the end of class you'll have the option to play around with Compass Pose.
This is a slightly more advanced pose that incorporates everything we'll have worked on up to that point - twisting, hamstring & hip flexibility, as well as side body & shoulder opening.
