Banded squat.

This is great as a warm up for the legs before sport or a workout. It hits the glute medius big time.

It also helps as a reminder to push your knees out when you squat.

Try 3-4 sets of 20-30 reps!

Sometimes you have to use the filter on a photo just to get the color back in your face.

This was a short workout but at max effort so the lactate builds up fast and stays with you the whole way. Best way to start the week, hard work pays off!

Special mention for these guys. Since January they have lost a combined weight of over 20kg, but also they are stronger and fitter than I have seen them before.

They are relentless, they work hard everyday, there are no secrets. Hard work always pays off!

But... always try to be better so keep going and one day I might even say well done to your face (not likely)

Trying to lose weight is a really simple concept. Burn more calories than you consume. It doesn’t matter where those calories come from.
You’d be surprised how many calories are in this pretty healthy lunch. A whopping 750 calories. That’s 1/3 of my daily intake.
1 Avocado, 3 poached eggs, 2 slices sourdough, sprinkle of feta and some veggies.
Keep track of your calories, it’s pretty easy to go over!
