I'm sharing this video from my other channel, Linus' Napoleonic Shipyard, where I explore historical naval warfare through wargaming. In this episode, I dive into the mechanics of boarding actions, those brutal, chaotic moments when ships locked together and the fight turned hand-to-hand.

Why share it here on Särimner HEMA? Because naval boarding was essentially historical melee combat in extreme conditions. Understanding the tactics, weapons, and constraints faced by sailors gives us valuable perspective on how weapons like cutlasses, boarding pikes, and axes were actually used.
