Kneale Diamond from talked with us last week about bunkers.
Reducing washouts, reducing contamination, improving playability… There are many reasons to install liners in your bunkers and many different ways and materials (concrete, sod liners, porous rubber, fabric liners, synthetic turf…). GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf is an international not-for-profit, founded sixteen years ago to help inspire, support, and reward credible sustainability action and to strengthen and promote golf's social and environmental value.

Robbie put the students in charge of the sustainability of the golf course for one day and made us look into new ways to be more sustainable.

This week we had two wonderful seminars.
First Göran Tyrsing, CEO of the Swedish Greenkeepers Association visited us to explain the work the association does for all Greenkeepers and to give us some tips on how to be a successful manager.
Second Stuart Tate, European golf specification manager at RainBird Europe gave us some good lessons on how to properly install an irrigation system.
