The weather is getting better, the spring time is coming back. The air temperature around 6C, water 3,7C. Pikes are slowly moving to the shallow, most of them are 4 meters deep.

After the snow storm survival, we are back on the lake😀

Anyway, our base is more than comfortable. We will take time until the evening to study more details about the area around us, Navionics, youtube, some local guides blogs, chat with locals a lot of work to do😀.

We can park our boat at the private jetty in the front of our house. This will prolong our daily time on the lake a lot. And we will need it, exploring such a huge area will be tough job. Weather is changing into the summer. Temperatur is rapidly increasing during next week, this will be a difficult exam for us.

Just arrived. Thanks to airbnb we found a realy comfortable cabine right on the bank of the lake. Is it lake or sea?🙂 You realy cant see many differences, except the fact, the water is not salty🙂.

Back to the trip. Because of neverending rainy weather, me and Filip have decided to leave the rest of our friends and move more to the south. We are heading to the biggest swedish lake Vanern. With its space of 5650km2 Vanern belongs to the group of 3 biggest lakes in Europe, two of them are in Russia. 140km long, 80km wide. Can be similar dangerous like the sea, so after the spring flood at the river, it is another big challenge for our crew!
