Thanks to all and everyone of you 😍- volunteers, athletes, media, spectators and officials - without you this Championships would not have been what it was. 102'000 people attended the competitions in the Swedish National Arena and in addition, 32'000 attended the various side events and ceremonies at the Medals Plaza. All of us together have worked to inspire the world to ski ⛷!
It's a wrap - and we cannot say it better than Aksel Lund Svindal: "This was totally insane"! Thanks to all and everyone of you 😍 – volunteers, athletes, media, spectators and officials - without you this Championships would not have been what it was. Since the opening ceremony we have seen 11 new world champions 🥇crowned after fantastic performances on the demanding slopes on Mount Åre. 102’000 people attended the competitions in the Swedish National Arena and in addition, 32’000 attended the various side events and ceremonies at the Medals Plaza. All of us together have worked to inspire the world to ski! ⛷️

Slalom king Marcel Hirscher takes his 3rd slalom gold medal as Austria sweeps the men's slalom podium with Michael Matt winning silver and Marco Schwarz bronze. It's a wrap for us at Åre 2019! 🙂😍

Wow, the second run of the ladies slalom will be a tight fight between the best ones.😎 Wendy Holdener 🇨🇭 is in the lead after the first 30 athletes, directly followed by Anna Swenn-Larsson 🇸🇪 and Mikaela Shiffrin 🇺🇸. Good luck to everyone for the second run, starting at 14.15 CET! 🍀👏🚀 Be there!

That was a giant slalom for the history books 😀. What a fight to the finish line with , finally conquering his World Championships podium demon. First ever medal and it's gold 🥇 Silver for recovering and bronze to Frenchman
