In yoga, we talk about Ahimsa non-violence. Compassion for every living thing. It's the first of the Yamas, the foundation the whole practice is built on

For me, that doesn't stop at the mat. It carries into every meal. in Auckland understood that. Plant-based, intentional, alive. Yummy food prepared with the same care we bring to practice. Every ingredient is chosen. Nothing wasted. Nothing harmed.

Thank you to the beautiful people at for an evening that felt like an extension of the practice.

Tag someone who lives Ahimsa at the table too. 🌞

I trained hard for over a decade and still didn’t feel free in my body. Here’s what nobody tells you about the gym world - it’s built to keep you coming back, not to set you free.

The shift happened when I stopped training body parts and started training my body as a whole.

Have you ever felt this way? You’re not alone. 👇🏽

You're not just what you eat.
You're what you put on your skin, wear, and breathe in at home - every day.

3 swaps that actually matter:
🧴 Bathroom → ditch synthetic deodorants & cosmetics. Go organic, fragrance-free. If you can't read it, don't use it.

👙 Your clothes → polyester is plastic. Swap to cotton, linen, silk. For period care: organic cotton or a silicone cup.

🍳 Your kitchen → no more non-stick pans, synthetic candles, or unfiltered tap water. Cast iron. Beeswax. A water filter.

No supplement will fix what dirty daily inputs create.
Clean the basics first. Your body will do the rest.

What 13 Years of Sobriety did to my body:

Stopping alcohol at 20 wasn’t just a physical choice, it was a hostile takeover of my own potential. While most people spend their 20s taxing their systems, I spent mine building a high-status vessel and deepen into my yoga practice & mind.

The 13-Year Audit:
1.Default Confidence: I became the most confident version of myself. I didn’t need a “liquid mask” to find my voice; I built the internal architecture to lead & teach with authority.

2. The Comfort Zone Advantage: Most people only step outside their comfort zone when they’re stimulated or under external pressure. Because I am sober, I put myself out there 365 days a year. My “baseline” comfort zone is where most people’s “extreme” begins.

3. Social Sovereignty: I learned who my real friends were. If someone only wants you around when substances are involved, they don’t want you, they want a co-conspirator. I only choose people who crave my presence in its purest state.

4. Vascular Clarity: The “dark rings” under my eyes, decreased. My eyes are clear, bright, and alert.

5. Physical Explosion: I’ve trained like an athlete for years. It never feels like a struggle; it feels like a gift.

6. My hair is thicker & I build lean muscle at a rate alcohol-induced cortisol would never allow.

7. Circadian Sovereignty: I love mornings, in my teens I preferred the nights. My energy spikes with the sun, not a stimulant.

8. Financial Freedom: I’ve saved $$$$$ (even if it only was 1-2 drinks per weekend). I reinvested that into my business, travels, education and health.

9. Sleep Architecture: My sleep quality improved by 50%. I spend my nights in deep neurological repair, not processing toxins. 🧠

10. Hormonal Mastery: As a woman, alcohol is a wrecking ball for estrogen. My cycle is stable because my endocrine system isn’t under constant attack.

11. Liver Sovereignty: My liver is optimized. Compared to a “regular” weekly drinker, my filtration is roughly 2x (100%) more efficient.

12. Dopamine Baseline: I don’t need a chemical spike to feel alive. My baseline for joy is naturally high and stable.
