Gothenburg dancers 🩰 Are you dreaming of dancing on pointe one day or just curious about the anatomy and function of your pointe shoe? Join our Pointe Workshop. We welcome Emma Idén, teacher and professional pointe shoe fitter at Swedish National Ballet School. Emma will share everything a dancer needs to dance on pointe safely and successfully. Emma began her training at the age of ten at the Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm. During her twenty-five-year career as a dancer, Emma has been engaged by the Royal Swedish Opera, the Norwegian National Opera, Malmö City Theatre, and the Royal Dramatic Theatre, in addition to performing in numerous independent projects and musicals. She holds certifications in both the ABT and Vaganova teacher training programs.
