During our companys Gokart Le Mans event yesterday, we faced some unexpected challenges when two team members fell ill and couldn’t participate. We found 2 stand ins last minute, both earning medals for their efforts. Ultimately, the victorious team was the Red Flags team, consisting of Alex and Andreas. 🏁

I want to share the experiences from yesterday’s walk on the quay of dreams, right near the cmb’s office.

It is a bit unique to walk here, you are met by street art and everything from beautiful well-maintained boats with chandeliers to boats that are rusty and half sunk in the water.

If you have a dream of going out on the seas one day, if only you first get the boat in order, then this is where you come. Most stay until the boats sink

The quay has always been drawn with a certain reputation. It has been a haven both for the sometimes odd boat owners and for more shady characters.

Västlänken and plans for Gullbergsvass as a new district still threaten the quay, but at the same time the years pass and the boats remain.
