4 Svenska lag är klara för årets turnering, från Stockholm kommer AIK och Hammarby, från Skåne kommer Helsingborg och Malmö FF. AIK och Helsingborg ställer upp i både U14 & U15 klasserna, Malmö och Hammarby ställer upp i U14 klassen. Vi önskar samtliga lag varmt välkomna till IFK Göteborg Invitational 2018.

4 Swedish teams are confirmed for this falls tournaments. From Stockholm we welcome AIK and Hammarby, from Skåne we welcome Helsingborg and Malmö FF. AIK and Helsingborg will particpate in both U14 & U15, Hammarby and Malmö FF will participate in U14. We look forward welcoming you to IFK Gothenburg Invitational 2018.

Vi är oerhört glada att återigen välkomna Stabaek Fotball till Göteborg och IFK Invitational 2018. Det är 3:e gången föreningen kommer till oss och det skall bli spännande att återigen se dem spela. Stabaek ställer upp i U14 klassen (P04).

We are delighted to once again welcome Stabaek Fotball to Gothenburg and IFK Invitational 2018. This will be the third time the club has a team in the tournament and it will be exiting to see them play. Stabaek will play in the U15 class (Boys 2004).

En av Danmarks starkaste akademiklubbar är klar för Invitational 2018. Det är väldigt kul att kunna presentera FC Midtjylland som deltagare i årets turnering, klubben är känd för att ha en väldigt fin ungdoms- och talangverksamhet. FC Midtjylland ställer upp i både U14 och U15 klassen. Varmt välkomna!

Today we can confirm that one of Denmark’s strongest academies will participate in IFK Göteborg Invitational 2018. FC Midtjylland who is well known for its youth and talent program will play in the U14 and U15 classes at this year’s tournament. We look forward to welcome you in October.

Ålborg har varit med i IFK Göteborg Invitational's alla upplagor och det är riktigt kul att de även i år valt att komma. De har precis som PAOK och Crystal Palace valt att spela i båda åldersgrupperna.

Vi önskar dem varmt välkomna tillbaka!

Aalborg have participated in IFK Invitational all years and this year want be different. As PAOK and Crystal Palace they have decided to play in both age groups.

We would like to take the opportunity to welcome Aalborg back to us!

För andra året i rad så har Crystal Palace valt att komma till Göteborg och IFK Göteborg Invitational 2018. Precis som PAOK kommer de att medverka i båda åldersgrupperna (2004 & 2005).
Vi är såklart väldigt glada och önskar dem varmt välkomna tillbaka.

For the second year in a row, Crystal Palace will come to Gothenburg to play IFK Gothenburg Invitational 2018. As POAK they will compete in both age groups (Boys 2004 & 2005).
We are very happy for this and welcome them back to us.

We are happy and proud to announce that PAOK will return to IFK Göteborg Invitational 2018.

“It was a pleasure having them in the tournament last year and even more satisfying that it was mutual from their side. The feedback we got from PAOK was that the standard of the opponents was very high, one of the best tournaments they played in Europe last year. In addition to this they appreciated to be in and around the Prioritet Serneke Arena. It made it so easy when almost everything is under the same roof.” Says Johan Gerebro, Tournament Manager, IFK Göteborg Invitational.

What a weekend we had at Prioritet Serneke Arena! 34 games where played and when the smoke disappeared PAOK stood there as the winner. Congratulation from alla of us in the tournament staff, we really enjoyed watching you play.

The goals with the tournament was to have different kind of football styles, strong teams and as many 50/50 games as possible. Of the 34 games played, 88% had an equal result or a winner with maximum +2 goals difference. Only 4 games where played with +3 goal differance. So yes, we like to say we made it!

Many thanks to all the participating teams, players, leaders, crowd and staff. You all made it possible!

Now we are starting to plan next years tournaments, stay tuned here for the latest information.
