Annika is an expert in body awareness with over 20 years of experience in body therapies.
Her teaching helps dancers develop body awareness, transforming both their tango and their connection with partners.

💫Unleash your creativity with Henny Stridsberg 13-15th of March🌟!

Henny is specialised in integration of contemporary dance tools into her tango teaching. She creates truly explorative and empowering learning environments, facilitating deeper layers of presence, musicality and creativity. With a rich background in contemporary dance and in the vibrant Parisian tango scene as a DJ and organizer for Tango Q***r Paris during many years, she has since 2019 enriched the tango community in Stockholm.

We are happy and proud that Henny is part of the teaching team at Let's play tango weekend! 13-15th of March. 🥳 She is gonna give two workshops:
➡️Ws 4: Golden tango figures with Malin
➡️Ws 6: Creative laboratory lab

🎶Henny will also be our DJ on the Saturday night Milonga 🎶👏🏽

… Yes, this is a very telling message for Malin Backström , a pioneer in the development of q***r- and double role tango in Sweden.
Malin is a highly in-demand teacher in tango communities all over Sweden and Scandinavia, based in Stockholm. In her teaching Malin creates a warm and safe atmosphere, and gives focus to communication and musicality! She is known for her pedagogical skills and her ability to make even difficult things seem easy. 👏🏽

Thank you everyone who joined our beautiful tango weeekend in the end of September! Next time Ademir comes to Sweden is when we for the first time will be teaching together in Stockholm in the end of this month 😊! Gothenburg Tango people - would be so fun if a bunch of you join us to one of the most charming and oldest festivals in Sweden in Skeppsholmen 🚞🚌🌆!

Vi laddar för Stora Teatern! 😄

Kom till en fantastisk Tangoafton på Storan. Imorgon är det DJ-duon Suzanna och Jonathan som spelar sina vackraste tandor! 🤩

Det brukar bli trångt hos oss på Storan - och det är en del av charmen. Vi vill passa på att dela med oss lite tips för att skapa en fin ronda 💕 - flöde och trivsel i dansen, tillsammans!

✨Rondan i tango är i bästa fall som en enda stor giro – ett gemensamt flöde där alla dansare delar samma cirkel, och där blickar öppnar vägen. ✨

1) Ögonkontakt vid start
Innan ni går ut på golvet: möt blicken hos föraren bakom er i rondan. Ett hej – ”ger du plats åt mig?” – skapar smidiga ingångar.

2) Håll lagom avstånd
Dansa ikapp om det blir en lucka till paret framför, men undvik att komma för nära.

3) Välj en bana
Bestäm om ni dansar i yttre eller inre cirkeln – och håll er där. Undvik att växla fram och tillbaka mellan spåren. Även i den inre cirkeln: försök bidra till rörelsen framåt.

4) Små steg i trängseln
Anpassa stegens storlek efter utrymmet. Hellre små, känsliga steg än yviga rörelser.

5) Le vid krockar och säg ursäkta
Det händer – och ett leende gör att allt känns lättare.

6) Supertips - Bilda en svans!
Ta rygg på någon erfaren förare. Då kan vi skapa en lång, harmonisk svans som rör sig i samma takt och som blir längre och längre och bilda flyt.
