Say hello to our first athlete in our Athlete Spotlight series — Levi Tubailagi

A rising multisport star across Ninja, OCR and Modern Pentathlon, Levi is already making his mark on the international stage.

In December 2025, he proudly represented Australia at the UIPM World Championships in South Africa, podiuming three times with the U17 Boys Team.

Training at Geelong Ninjas and the Barwon Hub, Levi is locked in for a huge 2026 season with major events ahead and eyes on future world championships — and Brisbane 2032.

Wishing you a huge and successful 2026 season — welcome to the spotlight, Levi

📣 UIPM & World Obstacle – Integration Update

The following is an extract from the UIPM & World Obstacle joint statement.
Read the full statement here: https://worldobstacle.org/integration

"Ever since the UIPM Obstacle Task Force (OTF) released its most recent statement on 25 October 2025, integration talks have taken place on a regular basis between representatives of UIPM and FISO (World Obstacle).

Both Federations remain fully committed to the proposed integration of FISO within UIPM, following the approval in principle provided by FISO’s member federations at the 2025 World Obstacle Congress in Sweden. Subsequent meetings have reinforced the two organisations’ shared commitment to concluding this integration for the mutual benefit of all member federations and their communities.

All National Federations of UIPM and FISO received a written update on the integration process today. On March 15, the Obstacle NFs will gather in Nice, France, for the 12th FISO and World Obstacle General Assembly, where they will vote on the dissolution of FISO. The General Assembly will be preceded by a meeting of the OTF, also in Nice, on March 14."

✨ Looking back at 2025…
What a year. One full of change, learning, and a whole lot of building.
In 2025, we formed the Australian Multisport Federation and became the National Federation for obstacle sports
We took Aussie athletes to the world stage

🇸🇪 WO OCR World Championships, Gothenburg
4,000 athletes. 60 countries. One massive week of racing.
We came home with:
🥇 Ray Balkes – 100m
🥉 Mimi Goyette – 100m
🥉 Tony Curtis – 12km
🥉 Lisa Parkes – 12km
…and a strong 6th place for Mimi in the 3km

We also saw endurance pushed to the limit at the
Adventure Racing Oceania World Cup (100hrs) right here in Queensland.

🇨🇳 And in Beijing, at the UIPM OCR World Championships, Aussie athletes showed what’s possible:
🥇🥇🥇 Charli Sewell – gold in the 100m, 400m and 3km
🥈 Stevi Sewell – silver in the 3km and 2nd place in the 100m & 400m
and a strong 5th place for Levi Tubailagi in the 3km in a though age group

2025 was just the beginning.
2026 is about going bolder, faster, and further.
