So my second day of roebuck hunting was interrupted when I got a call saying that this poor girl got hit by a car on our grounds, and needed to take care of the meat before it spoils too much. Now I have never single-handedly opened any animal, but I was the only one out hunting. She had been laying out for a good hour and when I cut her up, it exploded gas buildup and what was in her digestive tract and stomach. Didn’t smell great, hope most of the meat is still salvageable. Drive safe.

Today I got up at 3am for roebuck hunt and was out until 3pm. Took more photo shots than actual shots. Tomorrow I try again lol
