Excitement is building! Tonight, the different area teams gathered for a coordination meeting to fine-tune plans for the upcoming JWOC week and ensure everything is in sync. Just 8 days to go until we welcome the first nations to the JWOC Event Centre at Brinova Arena Karlskrona - we look forward to meet you all!

Want to explore more than JWOC?
Kristianopel, which is one of the most sun safest places in Sweden, is a true hideaway!
There are small shops, restaurants and a popular café. Accommodation is at the
campsite, in the harbor, in cabins or at a Bed & Breakfast.
To stroll around among the small wooden houses, where the heavy scent of roses from the gardens mixes with the fresh breeze from the sea is the best way to experience Kristianopel. Sit down on a bench in the harbour and look out over the water where you
can imagine Ălandâs southern point in the horizon.
If you want to see the village a bit from above, you can walk around parts of the village on the mighty, old city wall. The view is fantastic!

This summer, the worldâs best junior orienteers will gather in Karlskrona to compete for JWOC medals. But you donât have to settle for being a spectator!
Sign up for the JWOC O-Tour, the spectator races held during the championship week, and take the opportunity to compete in the same terrain as the worldâs elite juniors while following the championships up close.

Over the past year, participants from as many as 27 different countries have visited Karlskrona and the surrounding area to prepare for this summerâs Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) through specially designed training packages. Even before the championships begin, we are approaching 5,000 guest nights in the municipality!
Everyone who has attended a training camp has been in contact with Pontus Petersson from OK Orion. Together with a course setter team from the club, they set courses for both the training camps and the upcoming championship events.

During all the JVM competitions, pre-ordered lunch will be served at the arena. It can also be
ordered by participants on the JWOC O-tour.
It is possible to order vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free or pork-free meals. Please note
that vegan dishes will not be available.
Lunch is ordered via Eventor no later than June 15, 2026. The price is 14 Euro per person per
