Kungsbacka Open

As always, we expect to be overbooked at least a month before the tournament starts, so don't wait with registering your team.

After a long day and night of preparations, most things are in place so that we can start this years Kungsbacka Open according to plan. We are so excited for another record breaking tournament. Five mats, more than 50 clubs and around 350 wrestlers. For those of you weighing in tomorrow, the time is 07.30-08.00. Matches start at 10.00. See you tomorrow!

If you are coming to Kungsbacka Open on Friday 20th for weigh-in and need a place to stay we can offer low price hard accomodation for your team. You will stay at Aranäsgymnasiet, a school just next to the tournament arena. Let us know as soon as possible (but not later than August 26th) how many are coming and we will make sure to reserve a place for your team.

With over one month left to the tournament, we are already fully booked. We will have a new record in participants with more than 400 registered wrestlers. If you want to be on the waiting list, please e-mail us at [email protected]

New clubs continue to register and we are now happy to welcome Bk Bryggan, Karlshamns Brottarklubb and Finspångs BK to the tournament.

With only 50 days left to Kungsbacka Open, the tournament is already starting to fill up. We currently have registered teams from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Tadjikistan. Register your team today to ensure your spot at the tournament.

Denmark has entered the tournament. The first danish club to register was Brydning. Welcome to Kungsbacka, Sweden in September.

The best feedback you can get as an organiser of a tournament, is when wrestling clubs far away, chose to come back again and again. We are super excited to welcome back Wrestling Club Combat all the way from Tadjikistan. The have registered a strong team of wrestlers with championship wrestling experience. Among others Idris and Alirizo Bahkromov, medalists at the U15 and U17 Asian Championships 2024.
