We are looking for new board members!

Vild! Friluftsföreningen is the outdoor association at LiU based in Linköping. We organise hiking tours and other events outdoors and we want to inspire students to get out in nature and explore the Swedish nature in Östergötland and the rest of Sweden!

Becoming a part of the board of Vild is the perfect way to meet like-minded hikers and outdoorsy people, organise fun events and grow as a person. We are a small association and as a board member, you have a great deal of creative freedom in deciding which path the association should take. Does that sound fun? Then apply yourself or nominate someone for the board of Vild 23/24!

The board will consist of 5-7 members and you can apply for the following positions:
President (1 position)
Vice-president (1 position)
Treasurer (1 position)
Social media manager (1-2 positions)
Event manager (1-2 positions)

You can also apply for the position:
Auditor (1-2 positions)
Hike leader (2-3 positions)

Important note: To be elected as a board member, auditor or hike leader, you will have to be present at our annual meeting on the 12th April at 17:15. More information will follow once you apply.

The Vild! Board 22/23

Do you want to take a break from studying and get out in nature? Do you long for an adventure but don’t have much time to spare because of tenta-p? Then Kärna mosse is just perfect! 🥾🌳

Kärna mosse is a nature reserve, located only 10 minutes by bike from Ryd Centrum and is definitely worth a visit. Kärna mosse is best known for its open bog and an impressive diversity of orchids (during summer 😄). The trail is not longer than 2km, so perfect for a relaxing Sunday hike!

Meeting location and time: Södra entrén Kärna mosse, at 14:30
Duration: around 1 hour

You can come by bike or take the city bus 6 to Kärna kors.

No sign-up needed, but please keep an eye on our social media as the event may be changed or cancelled at short notice (due to weather).

Vild is going to Omberg for a Hike! The only train connection in the morning leaves the train station at 06:46 in the morning so we have to get up extra early that day - but it will be worth it!! Omberg has a beautiful hiking scenery and the board of Vild has found us a hiking route of roughly 15 km! We will return approximately at 17.30.

Hello Everyone!
We hope you had a good start in the New Year and wish you all the best for 2023!🤩

For our first activity this year we want to invite you to go Ice skating with us! ⛸❄

We will meet next tuesday the 24th in front of Campushallen, where you will be able to rent iceskates (40 SEK). We can also provide a few iceskates, they will be distributed on first come first serve basis. After everyone is equipped, we are going to the icerink Isovalen.
There we will skate for around 2 hours. There will be vegan hot chocolate for you to warm up afterwards or in between ☕
