My first professional recording! I can’t believe it’s been ten years since this was released!

The record was supposed to be recorded by another engineer and producer

But if i recall correctly he didn’t have time for it. Luckily for me we had gotten to know each other when I did an internship at his studio during high school. I guess he knew i had a thing for heavier music and was hungry for work so through him I got my first job as an engineer and producer! I got to borrow his equipment since the only thing I owned back then was an EMU 1820 one sm57 and a couple of Samson microphones. We had him helping us setting things up at the studio of what back then was a nonprofit music organization called upSweden. That nowadays goes by the name Evelyn and is a music division of the adult educational association Kulturens.

Today I work at my own Studio, the EMU 1820 card is long gone and the studio holds the equipment from .berlin And many more...

10 years. Many hours and so much effort has been invested! A lot has happened and a lot has been learned since then. And the fun part is that there is still so much left to learn!

So with this post i’d like to say hi to the instagram world from behalf of the studio!
