- Wing Tsun Weapons Combat Weapons Combat Systems (WCS) is a weaponry-based martial art consisting of three branches:
- Weapons Combat Escrima
- Historical Weapons Combat
- Wing Tsun Weapons. Both weapon situations and unarmed possibilities against an armed or unarmed assailant are taught and trained. To put it simple: in WCS you learn to take out an opponent as fast as possible – armed or not. WCS is taught from a set of principles and concepts, rather than techniques, which allows the practitioner to reach a high understanding of armed combat and to adapt more easily to various scenarios based on a core knowledge of body mechanics and weaponry movement as well as the dangers associated with different weaponry types. This understanding increases one’s chances when facing an armed assailant. Instead of being bound to a particular weapon, the practitioner learns to use almost anything as a weapon. You find us in Sundkraft gym training Tuesdays and Thursdays 19:30-21:00. Our club is included in the gym membership as is training in Wing Tsun same days but before.
