Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling anxious?
Want to know what I do when I feel anxious?
⬇️
1. I go outside for some fresh air and go for a short walk, even if it is raining.(I find rain to be quite cleansing for my soul)😇

2. Practice balanced breathing : deep 5 secs inbreath, through the nose. 5 secs out breath through the nose or mouth. (Making sure on the inhale that I push my tummy out.)

3. Practice a self hypnosis technique from Betty Erickson:

Name three things that you can see right now.
Three things that you can hear and
three things that you can feel.

Then name 2 things that you can see, 2 things that you can hear and 2 things that you can feel.
☘️
And then 1 thing that you can see, 1 thing that you can hear and 1 thing that you can feel.
☘️
And breathe. ❤️
4. I then put my hand on my heart and express three things that I am grateful for right now.
Et voilà.
It's OK to feel anxious. Times are weird right now.
You got this. 🙏

As an empath this resonates deeply with me.
Once you realise this, and truly understand and apply this in your relationships you might, just like me feel an immense sense of relief and freedom.🙏
It's a journey to learn how to say no and to act in a compassionate way towards yourself and in your relationships without wanting to save the other person.🌺
