For the love of Dogs

🐕‍🦺Do you love dogs and yoga?
Then you are just like me.
As I’ve been deeply contemplating the purpose of my occupation as a yoga instructor I was extremely grateful when it struck me like a bomb to combine my passion for yoga with my love for dogs, as well as my frustration about the awful conditions under which millions of dogs are forced to live their lives on this planet.

🐕‍🦺As a consequence of this ephipany I decided to follow my fear (i.e opening my eyes on this dark topic) and follow my passion (spread joy, music and yoga) and combine the two by creating non profit classes and donate ticket sales to charity for dogs.

🐕‍🦺 I will pick a specific charity for each class and let you know which one as I post them.

❣️ And oh, a dream scenario for me would be to donate money for private people who are willing to buy suffering dogs from sh*tty owners and deliver them to hostels, and as I am completely new to this please feel free to dm me on how to proceed in that!

❤️ This also let’s me celebrate the beautiful spirit of my ex husband and father of my kids David, who loved dogs and all animals, and was great at donate to charities.

Looking for options how to proceed in the beautiful world of yoga and music ❤️

Since becoming a single parent of my two amazing boys I can no longer run a studio, work mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays (times when most people are taking yoga classes), these are moments spent with my boys!
And I cherish them a lot.

In hard times I remind myself that exactly this moment, wether it’s arguing about brushing teeth or waking up smelling my youngest son’s hair, will never come again and I thank God for them.

However I love the beautiful world and teachings of yoga and music, and I’m looking for ways to stay tuned in it, sharing it and embracing it again.

My wish is to get back to all of you soon!

Dear clients and friends of Tess Yoga Stockholm ♥️

•Before the next chapter of Tess Yoga Stockholm begins, I want you to meet David.

•The biggest Superhero of my life, my ex-husband and the father of my kids, was in this particular pic walking into my studio with my son, helping me returning my bowls after a retreat.
I was so proud taking this pic because it frames his personality and our love for each other so beautifully.

•Unfortunately David passed a month ago, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce the man who has so generously supported me on my yoga journey.

•He has supported me financially with my educations, financially supported me when I was a pretty bad teacher with no jobs, emotionally supported me as a new teacher, taken a lot of extra time with the kids to let me give retreats, trips and events.
He even let me practice postures on him, even though he REALLY didn’t like it 🙏
He actually did not like yoga at all 😄

•His deep love for me has truly been one of the bricks put together that allows me to share my light with you.

•As a true soulmate he always reminded me of my greatness and was also the first one to call me out on my bu****it.

•Fortunately I told him that he was a huge part of people leaving my classes feeling great, I’m so greatful I did.

•Struggling with deep depression, David could’nt always recognize how beautiful , generous and loving he wasas well as the rest of us, which caused him to step into eternity way too early according to all of us who loved him so deeply.

•The last thing he told me was that he loved me, and my choice is to let his love, light, generosity, humor and support shine through me in my parenthood and my profession. He was, and is, a huge part in what I do ♥️

•Even though we were not a couple anymore we had a deep friendship and shared a special humor that left us laughing until we cracked at least once a week.

•Enjoy the light my dearest David, you are loved beyond words and even though the journey you’ve taken me on as of a month ago hurts so much that I sometimes can’t breathe, I have nothing but love and appreciation for you.
