Applications for One Water Race 2027 are now open.

Three racers and one support crew member will take on approximately 250 km of running, swimming, and navigation through the Stockholm archipelago. The racers must include both women and men.

The first lesson.

“Within the first half-hour of the race, we would learn one of the first lessons: that the maps don’t always match exactly with reality. We ran well with the first teams during the start, but we planned a much earlier first swim because we thought there was a nice trail on the next island over. That turned out not to be the case, and we immediately lost 20 minutes and contact with the leading teams.”

APPLICATIONS FOR ONE WATER RACE 2027 ARE NOW OPEN

Are you ready to take on one of the world’s toughest endurance races?

One Water Race challenges teams to cross approximately 250 km through the Stockholm archipelago by running, swimming, and navigating their own route.

Each team consists of:

▪ Three racers
▪ One support crew member

Both women and men must be represented among the racers.

Race week: August 14–19, 2027
Application deadline: November 25, 2026

Still taking in everything that happened between Arholma and Landsort. 💙

First and foremost, to our eight incredible teams. For the fight, the teamwork and for giving us one hell of a race. Thank you.

For the first time in One Water Race history, four teams made it all the way to Landsort, in what might have been our most exciting and nerve-racking race yet.

And to everyone who worked, supported, watched, cheered and stayed up through the nights with us – thank you for being part of One Water Race 2026.

ONE WATER RACE 2026

Eight teams started.
Four made it all the way to Landsort.
Three of them for the very first time.

Days and nights of swimming, running, navigating and making decisions when both body and mind were pushed to their limits.

There were missed checkpoints. Comebacks. Teams forced to withdraw. Teams fighting against the clock until the very end.

This was One Water Race 2026.

To every racer, support, crew member, partner and everyone following the race around the world — thank you for being part of it.
