Went to Mantorp Park today to watch some dragracing! 🏎️💨

We're not driving COTF or the European Championship this year but we came down for a few practice days. Warm, fun and really good practice in OK with some of the best karting drivers in Europe. 🌞🏎️🌞
Now we're back home and it's time to get some more laps with the KZ. 🏎️💨

MKR 4, Rättvik. Rain, rain and more rain 🌧️ ☔. Hard conditions but it was fun driving in the rain.

Qualifying: P17, didn't really find the pace.
Heat 1: P17 > P14 > P12 after penalties ahead.
Heat 2: P17 > P8
Pre final: P9 > P9 > P10 after a penalty
Final: P10 > P14

Good racing in the heats and pre final, got a bit tricky in the final with a start from the outside. Fun in the rain, but S125 isn't really my class, I can't find the joy. Missing the OKJ and OK.

Taking a break from S125 for a while to find the passion again, focusing on OK and learning to drive KZ 🏎️🏁...and maybe driving some Renault Clio.🚗

MKR 3, Linköping. Struggled a bit with pace during the weekend. Didn't really find the speed and we didn't get the result we were hoping for.
Qualifying: P7 in my group, P12 total
Heat 1: P1 >P10
Heat 2: P12 >P12
Pre final: P11 >P13
Final: P13 > P11

Have had a tough start to the season, just need to find the strength and joy again and keep pushing!

MKR 2, Enköping. Had really good speed on practice day, but it was all gone on race day. We couldn't make it work at all, no matter what we did. 🤷 That, together with a bit of bad luck, made this a weekend to forget. 🙈 Just have to let it go and look forward...

MKR 1, S125. Struggled a bit at the beginning of the day. Didn't really find the pace. Starting the heats from P5 and managed the heats okay, had a good pre final where I finally found the pace. Started the final from P5 and came out at P4 after the start. After the first couple of corners I immediately felt something was wrong and I had to retire...the back wheel was loose...Sad, but it happens...🫣

Qualifying: P4 (in my group)
Heat 1: P5 > P7
Heat 2: P5 > P4
Pre Final: P7 > P5
Final: P5 > DNF

Klippan Cup, first race of the year and in a new class S125 with 61 participants. In mixed weather conditions before the qualifying we didn't get the set up right. It led to a modest position and I had to fight in the middle throughout the heats. I managed to get to the final but it ended in a DNF.
It was a good experience and the pace was definitely there, had fastest lap time in two of the heats even though I had traffic and fought for positions in the middle.

Our Rotax delivered, thanks and for great engine service!

Now we just have to put it all together for the qualifying and get better! Looking forward to the rest of the season!
