I lördags var jag på Örebro Fältrittklubb och höll min föreläsning ”Spänst och Harmoni” 🐴

Vi gick igenom teorin samt några praktiska moment.

Tack för en fantastisk dag till och 💐

Bra jobbat! 💪🏻👏🏻

Time to have a check! 😁
Yesterday came Anna Blomgren to Levád Fysiotherapi.
Anna has educated and competed lots of horses, from the first start to Grand Prix level. She has good experience in producing world class competition and sales horses.
We worked with the electronic pressure mat and she got new exercises to continue with her training 💪.
Great job Anna and welcome back! ❤️💐

This shows the head of a joint with a stable position in its socket. The muscles can relax here and the hand is gentler. When performing a halt or a half halt you will use the muscles from the shoulder to the spine which is perfect to transmit the force down to the seat.

Week 18 - P L A C E M E N T O F T H E S H O U L D E R A N D S H O U L D E R B L A D E

The illustration shows a shoulder hanging forward. The head of the joint is unstable in its socket and you can almost see how it could slide out of place. This causes the muscles to be constantly active and thereby tense and tired - both up towards the neck and around the shoulder. The muscles at the front of the body work to compensate for this poor position. When you pull up on the reins in contact with the bit you will easily end up in a pulling movement with a stiffer hand. The reins tend to slide through the hand.
