Djäkneberget parkrun, Västerås

Eftersom finns på flera platser i Sverige och i Norden är det ganska vanligt att parkrunners passar på att testa andra parkruns när de är ute och reser. Det är nog inte heller helt omöjligt att några av oss planerar sin semester utifrån var det finns parkrun 😅 På så sätt bidrar parkrun inte bara till rörelse och gemenskap, utan faktiskt också till turism 🫶

En av ”våra” besökte nyligen parkrun i Polen parkrun_Gdansk_Poludnie och Tyskland Alstervorland parkrun Hamburg. Så coolt ändå! 😃

Since parkrun takes place at various locations across Sweden and in the Nordic, it is quite common for parkrunners to combine their travels with a parkrun. It is most likely that some of our parkrunner plan their vacations around where parkrun events are held ☝️ Nothing wrong with that 🤩 In this way, parkrun contributes not only to activity and community but also to tourism.

One of our regulars recently visited parkrun in Poland and parkrun in Germany. Thats pretty cool!

🌳 Saturday morning well spent at Djäkneberget parkrun! 🏃‍♂️✨

​Huge applause to all 29 finishers who conquered the course, including 8 first-timers lacing up with us for the very first time! 🥳

​The conditions were clearly right—11 of you crushed new Personal Bests! 🔥

​A massive thank you to our 11 hi-vis heroes who cheered, timed, scanned, and made the event happen. parkrun simply doesn't exist without our amazing volunteer crew! 🧡
