'Are you Ms. Tan?'
It was a delightful & surprise reunion for our Principal Ms. Tan, & Palais alumni Priscilla Chan, at Singapore Ballet.
Congratulations to Priscilla, who graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA) earlier this year, and has completed a project with the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company (KNCDC).
Priscilla was our RAD Ballet student for 5 years. We are so happy for her success, & look forward to her many more achievements to come.

This morning at the fireside chat with Ms. Goh Soo Khim, to celebrate the publishing of her memoir, 'Love Connects'. Thanks to the vision, determination, and many years of hard work by Ms. Goh & the late Mr. Anthony Then, Singapore has a national ballet company,
The local ballet scene is often connected with Ms. Goh & the Singapore Ballet Academy (SBA), of which she was the Principal - Palais Principal Ms. Tan taught at SBA for approx. 7 years, at Lloyd Road & Sea Avenue. Vice-Principal Miss Teo remembers being one of the children dancing at a SBA concert, dressed in Chinese costume, prancing around with the Chinese lion dancers.
Congratulations on the beautiful private museum at Mount Emily, and the book that provides a glimpse into the fascinating life of one of Singapore's cultural icons.

Merry Christmas 2024! It's a lovely surprise to see a photo featuring our alumni student, Sheryl C, as one of the photos selected by to announce the new season of its Ballet Associates Course (BAC) 2025. We had selected Sheryl to attend the BAC on full scholarship in 2018, after Palais participated in the 'Celebration in Dance' 2017 that SB had jointly organised with RAD Singapore.
We are happy to continue to be in touch with our alumni around the world, and wish everyone a blessed season & a wonderful new year soon to start.

Throwback to 1st April 2017, when Palais Dance Studio celebrated our school's 28th Anniversary by inviting parents to participate in their children's ballet class that day. Many gung-ho mums & a few dads gave 'good toes, naughty toes' a go, and we raised S$2980 for the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.
