The riding season has started...

Another reason why we love Niseko! Beautiful in all seasons... And in all weather conditions...

Good morning Niseko! How's everyone holding up after a blizzard snow storm last night? Difficult to get an accurate measure of the 24hour period with all the wind and snow moving around, but it's quite deep out there and still snowing right now! Niseko powder is back again Yayyy! It's still quite windy up there, remember to check the lift movements, gate access and avalanche report! Safety first! Here are some stunning shots of Niseko under the moonlight! Niseko after dark is an exhilarating experience and considered the best night skiing in the world with virtually the whole area floodlit! Loving Niseko all over again and again... :-)

Another beautiful day in Niseko...

Glad the snow is back and the sun is out! A healthy 15-20cm of snow over the 24hour period! Yay! Wind speed is a little higher today with further decent period of JAPOW forecasted throughout the day! Yesterday, there were some excellent turns with a surprising amount of super dry powder up there off the peak and out of the gates! Hope you all had some epic turns! Don't worry if you missed out, the weather forecasted to have a better change over the weekend, fingers crossed! Looking forward to shred some Niseko turns! :-)

A different face of Yotei...

Sitting on the chairlift, slowly watching the heavy POWDER falling on all the terrains.. So peaceful but super excited! If the snowfall continues... It's about time for all the lifts to start operating! Feeling stoked!

Taken around Niseko, Hokkaido. The omnipresent mountain in most pictures is Mt. Yotei, a cone-shaped landform similar to Mt. Fuji. It stands at 1898m, certainly a majestic view at anytime of the day.

News just out from Hanazono - a one-star Michelin restaurant from Biei in Central Hokkaido will move to Niseko for the winter!
