Daily pull-ups/chin-ups day 34.

Was that six? I know I kicked but does it count?

Sixth 5k in six consecutive days.

Breathing rythm was a lot better today. Managed to keep it below 35. Could be better but I'm happy with that.

Daily pull-ups/chin-ups day 34.

Still chasing that elusive six. It will come. Just a bit more.

If you want a good laugh, listen closely to me squeeling at the sixth pull attempt.

Fifth 5k in five consecutive days.

The GPS screwed up. It showed I had cleared 5k at my usual 4.5k mark.

I couldn't find my breathing rythm and it affected my pace. Couldn't get momentum as I was constantly actively trying to regulate my breathing.

Nonetheless, even though my timing today is a lot slower, I am quite satisfied with the workout. I definitely feel a lot "fresher" than when I finished my past few workouts.

Daily pull-ups/chin-ups day 33.

Maxed out at five again. So close to six.

Fourth 5k in four consecutive days.

I like how I don't have to "motivate" myself too much to do my daily cardio.

It feels routine now.

Come home from work, shower, put on running gear and go.

I need motivation. I want to see your pull-ups.

Daily pull-ups/chin-ups day 32.

I thought I had six. Upon reviewing the video, I can see my chin did not go above the bar. Almost there. Just a wee bit more.

Again, I had to drop as I was starting to feel light headed. I don't want to risk blacking out mid-pull.

Don't worry about me though. This attempt was directly after a 5k. Hence the sweat and the breathlessness.

I prefer to attempt my pull-ups with warm muscles instead of cold ones.

Plus I like the convenience of clearing my daily fitness regime at one go so that I'm free to do whatever with the rest of my time.

Third 5k in three consecutive days.

I did not expect my timing to improve but it did. Managed to do a good stride for the last 100. Makes me wonder if I had enough in me to stride the last 200.

Maybe for the next one, I'll try to stride the last 150 first and see how my body responds to it.

Daily pull-ups/chin-ups day 31.

Managed to pull one more than yesterday.

I felt like I could have tried one more but I had to drop because I was starting to get lightheaded.

Not worried about it as this was directly after a 5k and if you listen closely, you can tell from my breathing that I haven't properly cooled down yet.

Good session today. Expected to be slower as this is my 2nd 5k in two consecutive days.

However, the air somehow felt fresher and I managed to stride the last 100 to keep my time below 35.

I am very happy with that result.
