The overlooked Axforce.
Not every head-heavy racquet needs to feel heavy.
The LI-NING Axforce 80 Light is one of those racquets that can easily be overlooked.
4U. G6. Head-heavy.
A lighter platform, but still with a forward-loaded feel for players who want presence in attack without feeling slowed down during defence, drives and fast exchanges.
It is not trying to be the heaviest smash racquet.
It is for the player who wants to move faster—without moving to a head-light racquet.

In badminton and tennis, love means nothing at the start of a game.
𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲.
Outside the court, however, it may mean everything.
Every match begins at 0–0.
No advantage. No history. No excuses.
Just two players, a court, and the choices that follow.

**ONE MYTH:**
**This knot is tension-loss proof.**
No knot is.
Different knot structures behave differently.
How a knot wraps, grips, tightens, and seats can affect how secure the tie-off is.
A good knot can reduce slipping.
A good knot can sit cleaner.
A good knot can secure the final string better.
But tension loss is not decided by the knot alone.
The last pull, clamp control, tie-off distance, string friction, string type, grommet condition, and how the knot is seated all affect the result.
A knot can reduce risk.
It cannot replace controlled ex*****on.
**The knot is the lock.
The tension was decided before the lock closed.**

𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵?
That question is asked almost every day.
But here's another question:
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 "𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵"... 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Not necessarily.
"Pre-stretch" can mean:
• Manual pre-stretch
• Machine pre-stretch
• Different percentages
• Different pull durations
• Full bed, mains only, or crosses only
• Different machine behaviours and algorithms
So two stringers can both say:
"I use pre-stretch."
..and still produce completely different stringbeds.
Even "10% pre-stretch" isn't always the same from one machine to another.
The bigger question isn't:
"𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵?"
It's:
"𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱?"
That's the difference between following a feature and understanding the process.
💬 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆?
Let's discuss.

Most people see a racquet.
A racquet technician sees a system.
The player.
The racquet.
The stringbed.
The frame condition.
The environment.
The history.
The risks.
The unknowns.
All connected.
Just like the same book can be read by different people and reveal different meanings, the same racquet, the same string, and the same tension can lead different technicians to different conclusions.
Not because one is right and the other is wrong.
But because they see different parts of the system.
The customer sees a number.
The technician sees the relationships behind that number.
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝.

Why Two Racquets at the Same Tension Can Feel Completely Different
Many players focus on one number:
"What tension should I use?"
But tension is only one part of the equation.
Two racquets can both be strung at 27 lbs, yet feel completely different on court.
Why?
Because playing feel is influenced by a combination of factors, including:
• Head Size
• Dynamic Tension (DT)
• Swingweight
• Pick-Up Weight
• Balance Point
• String Gauge
• String Elasticity
• Stringbed Density
This is why copying someone else's tension doesn't always produce the same result.
The number on the machine is only the starting point.
Myth:
27 lbs = 27 lbs
Reality:
Playing feel is the result of multiple variables working together.
Takeaway:
Same tension.
Different racquet.
Different measurements.
Different feel.
A stringer measures tension.
A technician understands the system.
