Usharani Maniam Dance Academy wishes everyone a blessed Vinayakar Chaturthi. As these arangetram girls offer their blessings to Vinayakar and their guru, may their devotion bring joy to all.

I am honoured to share that two saturdays ago, on the 25th of April 2024, i was inducted and bestowed the Exellence Award for Performing Arts (Bharathanatyam) for my outstanding contributions to Singapore and for my achievements in this art form by the Indian Hall of Fame Singapore (IHFS) and the management.

IHFS recognizes outstanding achievers amongst Singapore Indians in all fields of endeavour who have contributed in making Singapore a great nation and impacted in a positive way. Having been inducted, i am truly humbled that years of hardwork and dedication has been recognised.

Receiving this award is a moment I will forever cherish. It's a culmination of years of relentless dedication, passion.

I am deeply grateful for this honor and humbled to stand among the esteemed achievers recognized by IHFS. I am excited to be pushing boundaries and contributing to the rich culture of our nation through bharathanatyam.

I would also like to take this moment to thank the management comittee of IHFS and congratulate all the inductees.🙏🏽

Pongal is a harvest festival which means "To boil" or "Overflow". It is a 4-day celebration to thank the Sun ☀️ god, Mother Earth 🌍 , cattles and other farm animals cow🐄.
