Last year, 2022, the 26th SEA Junior and Cadet 2022 was my first competition with the Singapore Team.

This is 2023. I will be working hard towards more opportunities to represent Singapore again this year.

STTA National 'B' Division Championships, Mar 2022

Koh Chin Guan registered Janelle Chiang & I for Women's Doubles.

No spectators were allowed and all had to wear masks when not competing.

No table-tennis competition for 2 years (2020 & 2021) due to Covid-19 and 6 local national competitions and 3 overseas regional competitions this year (2022), not counting privately organised or inter-club competitions.

Let me reminisce on 2022.

I wonder what 2023 will bring...

Crocodile Challenge Cup is back again in 2022 after missing 2021 due to Covid-19. It would also be the last Crocodile Challenge Cup that I would be representing Elias Park Primary School (EPPS) in.

I met my regular opponent yet again in the Finals 😄 It has been so since 2017.

We even managed to get a wefie with Minister Edwin Tong.

2021年，因为新冠肺炎而被取消的鳄鱼杯乒乓赛在2022年又举行了。这也是我最后一年代表伊莱雅园小学参赛了。

我又在决赛碰上了同一个对手 😄 自2017年，我们都在决赛碰面。

场上是对手，场下是朋友 😄

我们还与唐振辉部长一起拍照呢。

上个星期四晚上，大约9点，我的爸爸决定带我和哥哥从巴西立走去樟宜村。因为我们刚刚结束筋疲力尽的乒乓训练，我们很不愿意走到樟宜村，但最终还是答应了。

在半途中，我和哥哥很想放弃。爸爸跟我们说要坚持到底。在爸爸的鼓励之下，我们继续前进。

我们终于在接近午夜时刻，接近2个多小时后，到达樟宜村。原来的计划是吃宵夜再走回家。还好，因为这是我们第一次，爸爸大发慈悲心让我们搭出租车回家。

我从这次经验学到了如果要达到梦想是不容易但是如果我不放弃，我就会越走越靠近。

假如我们要达到我们的梦想，坚持不懈是一个很重要的精神。莱特兄弟给我们做了个很好的榜样。因为他们的永不放弃的精神，我们现在才能飞到全球各地。

吃完宵夜，冲个凉之后，我终于可以倒在舒适的床上了。

Last Thursday night, slightly after 9pm, my father decided to bring my brother and I for a long walk from Pasir Ris to Changi Village just after a tiring table-tennis training session.

I was reluctant to go for the walk, but I still agreed.

Halfway to Changi Village I felt like giving up. My father encouraged me to persevere on. My father’s words gave me the strength to push on.

We finally arrived at Village Hotel Changi at almost midnight, after more than 2hours. We were supposed to have supper and trek back home. Fortunately, my father had mercy on us as it is our first time 😊 So we took a GRAB home!

I have learnt that to achieve a goal is not easy but if I do not give up, I will be moving closer towards achieving my goal.

To reach our goal, perseverance is an important value. The Wright brothers was a good example. It was through their perseverance that we can fly around in aeroplanes today.

I was delighted to be home to have a quick supper, shower and finally go to my comfortable bed!

鳄鱼杯乒乓比赛将在12月中旬举行。这是我今年的第一场比赛。

回顾前几届的鳄鱼杯历历在目，也想起了巴西立中心的刘教练，除了感恩还是感恩。

Crocodile Challenge Cup 2020 will be held in mid-December. This will be my first table-tennis competition this year.

This brings back a flood of memories. I am overwhelmed with gratitude thinking back on my previous Crocodile Challenge Cup outings under the guidance of STTA Coach Liu.

Examinations is almost over. I am going to get my results soon. I hope that I will do well.

My brother is going to Singapore Sports School soon. When my brother is there, I wonder what should I do?

考试快要结束了。我也快要得到我的成绩了。我希望我会拿到好成绩。

我哥哥要去体校了。哥哥在体校时，我应该做什么呢？
