12 teams, 11 regions, 1 goal. MCT SEA will see Southeast Asia's non-franchised contenders compete for 4 slots in the upcoming M8 World Championship!
The format of the inaugural MCT SEA will see 12 teams divided into 4 groups, with the top 2 teams of each group advancing out of the Group Stage.
MCT SEA is the only MCT in the world to feature an Open League Qualifier Group, where MDL ID, MDL PH, and MAL MY representatives will compete. Only 1 development team is allowed to progress out of the group stage.
The 1st and 2nd teams from MCT SEA will qualify directly into the M8 Main Stage, while the 3rd and 4th will qualify for the M8 Wildcard.

As part of MLBB Esport's 5-region global strategy, MCT SEA is the latest addition alongside MCT EA and MCT AMER as the unified pathway for teams to qualify for MSC and M-series.
The inaugural MCT SEA will be the path for non-franchised SEA regions to earn their spot at the upcoming M8 World Championship.
With MCT SEA, teams from the region can now compete for another prestigious international trophy and a share of the $50,000 prize pool.
The 1st and 2nd teams from MCT SEA will progress to the M8 Main Stage and the 3rd and 4th to the M8 Wildcard.
This time, the top 3 teams from M8 Wildcard will progress to the M8 Main Stage, giving more winnable slots to the SEA region.
