Meet Coach Junjie. He is part of Olaso Tennis Team. Junjie began playing tennis at a young age and quickly progressed to become proficient in the sport, achieving success as a junior ranked player in the Philippines. He continued his tennis journey through his educational institution, excelling competitively and earning a full scholarship for his Bachelor's degree at the University of the Philippines Diliman. After graduating in 2008, Junjie transitioned into coaching, specializing in junior tennis athletes across primary and secondary schools. His structured programs led to multiple team championships during his five-year coaching tenure.

Returning to his alma mater, Junjie spent two years as Head Coach of the UP Tennis Varsity team, notably guiding them to the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) championship finals after a decade-long drought. He furthered his credentials with coaching certifications from the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) before moving to Singapore in 2014. There, he served as a professional tennis coach at Ignite Tennis Academy for six years, focusing on developing young children into competitive players for major tournaments such as SPEX and JTTL. Junjie also designed coaching programs tailored for adult enthusiasts of the sport.

While dedicated to enhancing his students' skills, Junjie maintains his own fitness and competitive edge through participation in tennis tournaments in Singapore. His achievements include winning the Men's 35+ Doubles category at the STA Pesta Sukan Open/Masters Tennis Championships 2019 and consistently reaching the semi-finals in the Mixed Open Doubles category since 2018.

Great news for juniors looking to improve their tennis skills! Starting August 5th, to Sept 30, 2024, we're kicking off our Yellow Ball classes at Furama. Join us every Monday from 6-7PM. We have Coach Keff leading the sessions.
