KB Doves Thursday Flicks – Where Every Flick Brings People Together!
Another fantastic Thursday evening of Sports Table Football came alive at Kebun Baru Community Club as the familiar faces of Kok Wee, Ashley, Melvin, Rebecca and JE gathered around the table for another session of friendly competition, laughter and great camaraderie.
It was especially wonderful to welcome back Rebecca, whose return added even more energy to the evening, proving once again that Sports Table Football is a sport for everyone, regardless of age or experience.
The KB Doves family also welcomed a new learner, Ashika, sister of Nagulan, who was introduced to the art of flicking by KB Doves Chief Coach Ashley Tan. Under Ashley’s patient guidance, Ashika quickly discovered that Sports Table Football is far more than simply flicking miniature players—it’s a game of skill, strategy, precision and endless fun.
Adding to the community spirit, Kebun Baru resident Peter Chung dropped by with his son, Elliot, for an enjoyable evening at the tables. Peter fondly reminisced about playing the game during his primary school days, and it wasn’t long before those memories came flooding back as he rediscovered the joy of flicking. Sharing the experience alongside Elliot made the evening even more special, highlighting how Sports Table Football continues to connect generations through a shared love of the beautiful game.
Every Thursday session at KB Doves is about much more than winning matches. It’s about making new friends, rekindling old memories, learning new skills and building a welcoming community where everyone—from complete beginners to seasoned players—feels at home.
If you’ve ever wondered what Sports Table Football is all about, why not come along and experience it for yourself? You might just discover your next favourite sport—and become part of the ever-growing KB Doves family.
