! ๐จ "No pain no gain" must be not be taken literally. Pain during workouts is not (and will never be) an indicator of results. Regardless of sharp or blunt pain, the area should be monitored closely to eliminate the risk of sports injury.
Discomfort, such as muscle soreness or weakness is perfectly normal during workouts. It is an indication that you are training the muscle area(s) to become stronger. Remember to do a good a stretch before and after every workout to help your muscles relax and recover! ๐
