Kwan walked in on 8 January 2025 looking for conditioning for a bike tour.
What he found was a lot more than that.
At 61, he’d been told to stop lifting. Doctors kept telling him, “Protect your knees. Just walk.”
He didn’t buy it.
He educated himself, showed up, and did the work.
Four months in, things started to shift.
Weight came down. Cholesterol followed. Mobility improved.
But ask Kwan what the win really is and he won’t talk about the scale.
He’ll talk about staying functional.
Staying mobile. Aging on his own terms.
That’s the kind of progress we’re here for. 💪🏽🎯
