Many people think breath is something to remember during yoga.
But in practice, the breath should lead.
When we move first and breathe later, the body often starts forcing, gripping, and rushing. The posture may look correct from outside, but inside it feels strained.
A breath-led practice changes that.
The inhale creates space.
The exhale softens effort.
The body learns to move at the pace of awareness, not habit.
This is why yoga is different from simply stretching or exercising. The breath is not an accessory to the posture. It is what gives the posture intelligence.
Try this in your next practice: before you move, breathe first.
Let the breath begin the movement.
It may feel slow at first.
That slowness is the point.
Come practise with us at Rudrakshaa.
