There is an easy way to tell if you have an anterior pelvic tilt. All you need to do is find the bony bit at the front of your hips and the bony dimple bit at the back and these should be in line.

Stiff Hips are often caused by long periods of sitting along with exercises that are more anterior dominant (eg. squats, lunges, etc.) Stretching and releasing can help reduce the overall tone of these muscles. Let's try this simple Couch Stretch:
👉🏻 Kneel on the ground and place the front of your shin against a bench/couch
👉🏻 Take a step forward with the front leg and bent to 90 degrees
👉🏻Lift the same side arm overhead and squeeze the glute until a stretch in the hips are felt

This is a tape that can stretch and stick onto anything. It means that your targeted muscle won’t have as much load doing an exercise that requires that specific muscle.
So here’s an easy guide to use the kinesiology tape:
First we want to cut the tape 3/4 length of your targeted muscle. Then stretch the tape and paste it from one of your joint to the other on the target. You will feel a pull between joints. As easy as that you have successfully ease your muscle
