... everywhere wildlife in Singapore, hairy frog

What a difference a bird makes!

.. just behind Faber Crest, an estate at the border to nature's wonder.

No wonder we have to register before we enter into nature's refugium.

The river behind the estate I am staying is full of life. Otters and otter photographers are populating the area.

Unfortunately nature has to be removed to build another park connector right through the homes of the little animals.

Almost back to normal! Everything reconnected!

Dear to say the eagle didn't like the "our garden" idea. Wildlife needs nature not a garden. "Let us make Singapore our city of nature".

The Long wait is over.

The park connector right behind Faber Crest seems to reopen soon. At least it is sealed over the entire stretch.

Congratulations. The contractor made it in time. I had my doubts when I saw the workers reworking the freshly cemented trenches.

Running and cycling up and down the jogging highway can resume.

Almost!

Even on a rainy day Faber Crest keeps the holiday resort kind of look and feel.

I can’t stop making photos of the Faber Crest Estate. It is really a nice place, I am feeling like on a retreat here.

CNY celebration in Faber Crest estate. Faber Crest makes a real great setting for the Lion Dance.

It is a pity, the park connector behind the condo is closed for half a year.

My wife and me used it to escape to nature. This walk, run and cycling trek gave us a lot of quality to our life.

It was fairly easy to cross the AYE to cycle to the Pandan Reservoir.

It would have been so easy to split the construction work in sections and still provide partial access to the heavily used park connector.

But now we Clementians have to wait till July to enjoy our runs and walks again.
