As a layperson, having an awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and knowing how to respond can make all the difference between life and death. If a layperson witnesses sudden cardiac arrest, they should adhere to these six links of the Chain of Survival. A strong Chain of Survival can improve chances of survival and recovery for victims of cardiac arrest.
