Since 1983 to 1989 Pro Sports ,(first shop ) @ Kampong Java Squash Centre, Zainal Pro Sports Ditributor Pte.Ltd.1990to 1993 @ 275 Tanjong Katong Road, 1994 @ The Arcade, Sports Planet Pte Ltd 1995 to 2012 @ Kallang Squash Centre @ 2013 to 2015 @ Yio Chu Kang Squash Centre and Tanglin Club Pro Shop till 2017 and back to Kallang till 2026 . Our doors stood wide,
A small pro shop, with walls of pride.
From wooden racquets to graphite ,
We watched the sport give squash its wings.

Generation after generation came through,
For grips and shoes, for tips we shared.
Parents, then children, then theirs again,
Sharing our court, our sweat, our pain.

You trusted us through wins and slips,
Through tournament highs and blistered grips.
Your stories filled these humble shelves,
More than gear — we shared ourselves.

So as we close, our hearts are full,
From every serve, from every strings pulled.
Thank you for 40 years of grace,
For making this shop your second place.

The game goes on, though we step back,
But squash will always keep us on track.
With deepest thanks, we say goodbye,
To all who kept our spirit high.

The photo shoot is approaching soon , next Sat 23rd May. Here are some updates for the event ..

Arrival for everyone from 9-9.30am.. am sure many old kakis will have so much to catch up on..
come early to reminisce on our golden squash years.

Everyone will then head into court 1 seating area to get out of sight before Zainal arrives .

Please bring along a mask 😷 if possible so when we approach Zainal to give our best wishes , we mask up.

Also , we want to help the shop clear as much of the stocks as possible before they close , so please come ready to purchase what you need as well what you don’t 😀

The shoot will go on with or without Zainal , the contingency will be to photo shop him into the picture should he not feel comfortable enough to come but we are all rooting for him to make it. So please come and forward this message to as many old buddies of yours as possible.

As of now , none of us have any idea how many will be turning up. Come on guys .. let’s bring the house down !!

Zainal will be closing the shop for good , end June. So we have decided 23rd May Saturday , arrive before 9.30am for a photo shoot in front of the shop for all the different generations of us players whom the shop had played a big part of our growing up and growing old .. those who had the pleasure of watching him from the stands . And those who carry the badge of honor of getting tortured by him ( making a fellow A feel like a F grader 😆 )

To Zainal it will just be a few old timers coming but we hope to have as many as possible to give him a big surprise to thank him for his immense contribution and inspiration to us mere mortals of the sport ..
