- Heavy Popping for GT
o Min PE 8-10 Rod, Reel with 14kg drag, PE 8 main line and 170lb leader
o Poppers/stick bait/swim bait: 150g and above
- Medium Luring for Tuna
o PE 2-5 rod, reel with 10kg drag, PE 3 main line with at least 400m, leader 70-100lb
o Sinking minnows/swim bait: 50g and above
- Light to Medium Jigging
o PE 1-4 rod, 4000 size reel, PE 2 line with 250m, leader 40-70lb
o Jigs: 40-150g
- Heavy Jigging
o PE 3-8, 6000 size reel, PE 5 with 400m, leader 100lb

Itinerary for the trip
Day 1:
- Depart from Singapore (8-9pm flight) to Jakarta and Transit at Jakarta to Ambon
Day 2:
- 7am: Arrives at Ambon and unpack rod tube and language at guest house. Wash up and breakfast will be served.
- 10am: Move to buy additional drinks, snack and food.
- 11am: arrives at the boat and move off to fishing spot( first fishing spot 30-45min)
Day 2-4:
- Fishing from 600-1730
- One of the days will be for tuna fishing
Day 5:
- Fishing from 600-1730
- We will fish our way back to Ambon.
- Check in hotel by 1930
Day 6
- Check out at 430am for the 6am flight
- Reach Singapore around 3pm

4) We will meet up at least once to discuss on the fishing area and finalize details of trip.
5) 2 weeks before the trip, full payment must be made. Individual booking
- We will cap the maximum anglers on board at 5
- If there are less than 5 anglers, the total trip cost will be shared with the number of anglers going. However if the anglers on this trip decide not to go due to the additional cost, this trip will be canceled and full refund will be given. Cancelation

- 2 weeks before the trip no refund
- Reversed slots are transferable to other kakis.

K.Rompin Fishing Charter
This spot is around 3 hours drive from Spore and offers a way range of fishing every month. You can expect snappers and parrots in one month to diamond trevally and tengiri in another month. Light jigging and luring are very productive in this area. The trademark fish of Rompin will be Sailfish and every year from the month of Augest to Oct hundreds of anglers will make their way up there to battle this beautiful fish. Not to forget that there are lots of squid during the squid season from Augest to Sept. These are the targeted species thru out the season
Feb- March
- Best time for bottom fishing for grouper, coral trout, parrots and snappers. March- April
- The tengirri season starts somewhere in end March to Mid April and they will come in with the Mahi Mahi and cobia. The size ranges from 3kg to over 10kg
- Ebek and Chermin season starts from Mid March till end April. The school will come and go thru this few weeks. May- July
- Best time for micro jiggers as the anchovies will start to come in and they will attract the jemuduks, bulats, sagai and selar papan. August- September
- Sotong season starts and will be in full force somewhere in early August onwards to end of September
- Rompin trademark Sailfish seasons starts from August all the way to end October. October- November
- Second round of tengirri run will start in early October due the end of the season. Normally the tengirri will come in with the cobia
- Bottom fishing will start to get better from Mid October due end of the season. Fishing Boat:
