A casual practitioner for more than two decades before I took a leap of faith to be certified as a RYS-200 yoga teacher in 2018, I believe that yoga is for everyone, and thus should be made accessible to all.

Age and size don’t matter. And neither does your level of fitness nor flexibility. Rather, contemplate if you can schedule yoga in your life.

It is my privilege to be part of a fellow practitioner’s process to make small wins towards a healthier lifestyle where the key to balance is everything.

The first sunrise of 2025 painted the sky in breathtaking hues of orange and gold as 15 of us gathered at East Coast Park. The event was a resounding success, with everyone enjoying a revitalizing Sun Salutation session against the stunning sunrise. This Living Yoga event fostered a memorable start to the new year.

The exact origins can be traced back to ancient India, when practitioners would rise around five in the morning and perform a series of asanas while facing the rising sun. It is believed to promote growth, longevity, happiness, and improved health.

🧘‍♀️108 Yoga Surya Namaskar consists of 12 postures. The benefits are:
