The youth of today...most of these kids have well transitioned from balance bikes to pedal bikes. They have benefited from taking part in races and have an improved mental and physical aptitude to take them to the next level. Are your kids ready to pedal? Lookout for these signs:
1. They have mastered a balance bike.
2. They have good hand/eye coordination and are developmentally ready.
3. They are asking for a pedal bike.
BUT DON’T RUSH IT! Kids only get a few precious years on a balance bike. Let them enjoy!
