🥈 Second place finish for as we lost by Goal Difference to the eventual champions 👏

The team battled hard with an intention of achieving a 11 point goal difference but came up one goal short as a penalty was given at the final second of the game resulting in us achieving 2nd place for this year’s National Handball League.

It was an incredible run as we best the odds and showed grit and courage throughout the tournament. We can only do better from here. Onwards and upwards 💯💪

Our toughest challenge yet - a back and forth battle against last year’s champions 💪

It all ended in a draw and we’ve got a tall order as we go up against for our final game with the Champion title in sight 🔥

A great win against a very experienced and displined team that had us trailing from the start until we leveled things at half time (11 - 11) and managed a tough win thanks to a strong team defense and an incredible display of the prowess of our keepers 💯

5 out of 6 penalties saved by and only 5 goals were let in by .htett26 in the second half 🤯

And kudos to for a stellar performance with 7️⃣ goals ☄️

🤾🏻‍♂️ 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 🤾🏻‍♂️

Due to the shortened duration of the games and plenty of players available for this competition, Willows sent 2️⃣ teams for this year’s Pesta Sukan 💪

Despite a favorable group stage where Willows A went undefeated - they fell short to the eventual 2nd Runner-up at the Quarter Finals 👏

Willows B on the other hand had the “Group of Death” going up against strong teams such as and but stayed composed, winning all the games and topping the group 🔥

Despite numerous injuries, the team went all the way to the finals having to field a team without any substitutes and putting a goalkeeper as their last outfield player - we kept the game close but a very disciplined team made sure to run us down and capitalize on our lean lineup in the finals 💪

Good job to everyone over who represented Willows this competition 👏 And massive thanks to for organizing this year’s Pesta Sukan 👍
