A good bowling performance with Suresh’s 4 wkt haul , the chase was led by a Chandru fifty that was both brutal and classy . Strong support from Subra and Satish ensured CUCC chased down the target. CUCC triumphs in an intensely contested game at the Yorker Cricket Ground. The win is the tale of two extraordinary performances by John Seeman ( 3 for 33 in 6 overs) and Chandru Venkataramani ( 49 runs ). Good to be back at Yorker , an absolute batting paradise and a favourite hunting ground of CUCC.

CUCC’s scorching performance on a sunny day gets another ten pointer. Seam trio of Sanket- John- Saiful softening the opposition with testing spells. Sanket with 3 for 11, the pick of the bowlers. With Deft spin bowling by captain Narender and Sumon keeping the opponents to a modest total of 95 , CUCC’s top order finished the game in good time. Man of the Match : MA Sumon for figures of 2 for 9 and following up with a fiery start with the bat scoring five boundaries in the first over of the chase. Well done CUCC !

A solid foundation by Naren and Chandru followed by the onslaught of the horde of CUCC allrounders ensured CUCC’s 12th win on the trot. Man of the match : Sanket (2 for 53 and scored 46 runs) .
