Grateful for every single cheer, regardless MVRCK or not. Every individual that came up to us and say “Go Get It, We Support You.” We sibeh 感动流泪, aka touched beyond words okay.
These 3 words carried more weight than the 200LB sandbag. So really thank you 🙏🏻

We hope we did put up a good show last weekend.
This is probably one of the most hard fought in the recent years; at least for me.

EPIC TEAM —
Throughout all the weekly prep leading up to game day, to the climb up the leaderboard.
We might not be the fittest, so we better fight the hardest. :’)
Managed to clinched 5 Top 4 finishes with 2 event wins.
Trying our very best to come out with the best possible ex*****on plan on every training session. (When the process is more importanter than the results.) We would be proud so long as we achieve better results than in training (theoretically).

Keeping our heads high throughout the 7 events, with the best support group from MVRCK, thanks for feeding us food, drinks, bandages, tapes. Thanks for spending your precious weekend supporting us. ✊🏼

A decade of competing, there’s still something so so so magical about this CrossFit/Fitness Competition thing. The spectators, the cheers, the camaraderie, the excitement, the hard work you know everyone on the competition floor had put in, the hair standing moments, the fight, the grit, all gathered together, it’s indescribable.

It’s about showing what you got, yet it’s not about showing off. It’s you trying to prove to yourself about something, almost like fighting for something intrinsically important, yet the reason is different for everyone and despite this fitness thing being so hard, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

So I guess that landed us at #2 for Urban Throwdown and #1 at Turf Games.
Big shoutout to for kitting the whole team out, for the great event, and the whole team of judges/volunteers/organising committee for making this happen.

Till next time!

sum annual reminder to self.
to suck abit lesser year on year.

and sometimes we place a lot of self worth on us being ‘fit’, which is always a moving goalpost, as if it’s the only thing that matters in the(our) world.
like a unhealthy much. almost contradict to what fitness is for.

also sum reminder that, sum days we can just enjoy the fact that we can throw weights around and be merry.
I shud probably base my self worth on my Daytona skillz.
tenks for read verbal diarrhea.

Story of my life

160418 — 160423
Starting MVRCK in 2018 because I literally got nothing to lose.
From a 1 man team to a 4 man team, from an empty gym to the crowd that showed up yesterday.

Fast forward 5 years, pre/post pandemic;
This journey has been self conflicting at best, exhausted yet rewarding, (most of the time) broke yet fulfilling, at times it feels like the world kept progressing and I’m stuck in my own.
The disproportion in sacrifices and reward changes according to perspective and season.

’This is the only thing that I’m good in, so I better do it the best’ —
The conversation that happens more often than it should in my head.

I am grateful for the tremendous support from the members (past & present), industry folks, family, and friends from different stages of my life.
MVRCK wouldn’t be here without every single one of you.
Thanks for believing in the coaching and the brand.
We’ll keep striving.
