2026 RG World Champs 🔜🇸🇬

Mikayla Angeline Yang will be making her way to Frankfurt, Germany for the 2026 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships which will be held from 12 to 16 August to represent Team Singapore!

As the 2026 Commonwealth Games draws to a close, we would like to commend our Singapore Gymnastics’ athletes, coaches, and team for making Singapore proud in Glasgow, Scotland!

Over the past week, SG’s gymnasts have made a tremendous mark representing the nation:

• The MAG Team ranked 9th in the Team All-Around event with a score of 151.95.
• Jovi Loh qualified for the MAG Individual All-Around event finals, with a score of 72.400.
• The WAG Team ranked 7th in the Team All-Around event with a score of 140.100.
• Alena Tan and Amanda Yap qualified for the WAG Individual All-Around event finals, scoring 44.850 and 50.050 respectively.
• Amanda Yap qualified for the Floor Exercise and Balance Beam finals, winning the Silver medal for Balance Beam with a score of 13.233, earning Singapore its first medal in the 2026 Games.

Although Jovi was unable to complete his run of the IAA finals due to an injury during the Parallel Bars event, what a performance he had put up! We wish him a smooth and steady recovery, you have done us proud!💪

Next, we will be making our way to the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games! 🇸🇬🔜🏯

Please welcome our new PDM, Venessa Lim! 🥳

We are ecstatic to introduce Venessa, who will be our new Performance Development Manager (PDM)! As an existing member of Singapore Gymnastics' Performance Development team, she is no stranger to the organisation and the high-performance programmes where her skillset and contribution is highly valued.

Over the past few years, Venessa has contributed across a wide range of areas including the National Training Centre (NTC) programme, National Squad operations, competition planning and administration, judging education initiatives, and other key performance development activities.

In her new position as the PDM, she will continue to work closely with athletes, coaches, parents, and stakeholders to continuously deliver the ongoing development of Singapore Gymnastics' performance development programmes.

Do give her a warm welcome, congratulations Venessa!

Welcome home Team Singapore Gymnastics!🇸🇬🛬

Our TeamSG WAG and MAG team landed home in Singapore this morning from Glasgow, Scotland after the Artistic Gymnastics run of the 2026 Commonwealth Games!

We’re incredibly proud of the 8 gymnasts who flew the Singapore flag high and might. A special congratulations to Amanda Yap who won the first medal of the 2026 Commonwealth Games for the Women’s Balance Beam on Tuesday.

Great work team and thank you to the coaches and officials for your support and guidance! 🤸‍♂️
